Christine Garvican

Whilst on holidays in Germany we were shocked and saddened to hear our wonderful and

very close friends, Hugh and Christine Garvican of Leberhine Kennels were involved in a car

accident in southern Germany (Bavaria).

Unfortunately Christine passed away as a result of the accident and Hugh suffered very

serious injuries.

We take solitude that Christine died in a very special part of the world she very much adored

and doing what she loved.  May you Rest In Peace, Christine.  We will greatly miss your

laughter, kindness and sincerest friendship.

Please click here for a very beautiful poem written by Nikita Evans in memory of her loving Gran.

Also our sincerest thanks go to very special friend in Germany for their assistance in this very

hard time.  Special thanks must go to:

Edgar Rusenberg and Silke Kleine  Niklaus and Tim

of Blumenkamp Kennels

You experienced our grief and saddness from the moment we received the phone call about the accident.  We will forever be in debt to you for your love, support and friendship during the time we spent with you after receiving the news of the accident.

We are proud to call you our true friends and we love you all dearly.

Martin, Maria, Marcus and Andreas Goebl

of Wildsteiger Land Kennels

We met you all in a happy times with Hugh and Christine, yet united with the sadness and grief since the accident.  We are aware of the many thing you and your family have  undertaken once you were aware of the accident which many people will never know or will credit.

You showed you were true friends to Hugh and Christine and we are forever in you debt for the kindness and love you have shown.

Some pictures of our very special and treasured memories spent with friends both near and far

Christine Garvican

When this picture was taken it was in a Gasthof in southern Bavaria near where Christine died.  At the time she was encouraged to write postcards back to Australia and we witnessed Christine's wonderful humour at it's best - instead of the usual ramblings, the recipients received a progressive crossword.
